Jordan Pugh, the head football coach and founder of PPT Elite, has recently been honored with induction into the Plano ISD Athletic Hall of Honor. This prestigious recognition is awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to the Plano Independent School District athletic program. Pugh is being recognized for his outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to developing young athletes.
Pugh’s passion for football began at Plano West Senior High School, where he played as a standout Defensive Back earning All-District, All-State, & All-American Honors. He went on to play college football at Texas A&M University, becoming a three-year starter, permanent team captain, and garnered All-Big 12 honors. After college, Pugh was drafted in the 6th round of the 2010 NFL draft by the Carolina Panthers. Pugh later signed with the Washington Redskins in 2012 helping lead the team to a NFC East Division Title. He finished his career with the New Orleans Saints before retiring in 2014.
Following his retirement, Pugh returned to his hometown of Plano, Texas, and founded PPT Elite, a national youth & high school football program developing athletes on and off the football field. Through PPT Elite, Pugh has been able to share his knowledge and love of the game with young athletes in the DFW Metroplex.
Pugh’s induction into the Plano ISD Athletic Hall of Honor is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and commitment to the community. His leadership and mentorship have positively impacted countless young athletes, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
